Groove Server, Groove Services, or … what, exactly?

The Groove Advisor blog has a link to a new white paper that helps companies decide whether to use Groove Server or Groove Enterprise Services. But the white paper doesn’t say anything about companies whose Groove deployment may be too small even for Groove Enterprise Services. I would really like to have a better understanding of whether and how small businesses can count on Groove as a stand-alone application — sans Server or Enterprise Services — for reliable and secure collaboration. I’m sure the information is out there for the cobbling together, but it would be nice to have it presented clearly. (I tried to make this point as a comment on the Groove blog, but it wouldn’t take my submission. So I’m hoping a pingback gets some attention.)
