Give MS your feedback on volume licensing (or try to, anyway)

You’ve read my rants about Microsoft licensing for years. Now you’ve got a chance to tell them what you think.

One minor problem: they may not be listening. I submitted my feedback this morning, and here’s what I got in return:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: What I need for Volume Licensing success

Sent: 7/31/2008 8:28 AM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

vlneeds@microsoft.com on 7/31/2008 8:28 AM

The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.

It’s like ray-ee-ain on your wedding day, it’s a free-ee ri-ide when you’ve already paid ….

Maybe they’ve just blacklisted the schrag.net domain or my server’s IP address. Perhaps you’ll have better luck getting through.

Update, August 1, 2008: Eric has added a second e-mail address for feedback. See http://blogs.msdn.com/mssmallbiz/archive/2008/08/01/8798267.aspx
